The Church Planter Certificate is awarded to those students who are involved in learning how to plant a church. It is primarily designed to equip the church planter to be effective and seeks to give him/her the necessary tools to do so. The curriculum is made up of eight subjects. Two of these are practicums and another consists of training sessions at our annual conferences.

This program is offered free of charge but you must register.

Seminars, Workshops and Intensives are ongoing so check back here for the schedule constantly. We are always adjusting the schedule to accommodate numbers of Church Planters we find. We seek to engage as many church planters as we can and so we do whatever we can to offer our courses at the time of need.

Healthy Church Planting Seminar.
The Healthy Church Planting Seminar is usually a one-day seminar, but may be taught over four weekly sessions. This is a course consisting of four workshops on Why we plant churches, Who should plant churches, What the church you are going to establish will look like, and Models for Church Planting. Church Planters, their spouses, and their core team leaders are invited to attend.
Church Planter's Intensive
This Intensive is usually preceded by three pre-event sessions. In the pre-event sessions, church planters are guided through the processes of writing out their vision statement, identifying their core values, and writing a mission statement. The Intensive then brings together the core leaders to coach them through these three foundational steps. The Intensive consists of the following:
Defining the Vision, Clarifying the Values, Identifying the Mission, Committing Yourself to Prayer and the Word, Building a Team, Evangelizing Effectively, Planning Strategically, Designing an Effective Ministry, Overcoming Obstacles, and Caring for Your Family.
Becoming a Church with Impact
Becoming a Church with Impact means that everyone is on board with the direction of the church and the purpose God has for it. Core leaders and all church leaders are invited to attend these sessions. Church Planting Pastors can also take this course and then teach it to his/her church leadership team. The course consists of four workshops which are usually done over four sessions. The session are 1) Passion, Vision, Mission, 2) The Five Elements of a Healthy Church, 3) The Five Tasks of a Healthy Church, and 4) The Transformational System.
Mentoring
This is a one day training intensive which is offered to Church Planting Pastors only. The four workshops consist of the following topics. What is Mentoring? How do you mentor the Adult Learner? The Mentoring Relationship, and The Nuts and Bolts of Mentoring.
Church Ministry Practicum
This component of study consists of Monthly Mentoring which is done with The Church Planter, or one of the our Church Development Coordinators. At this session the Church Planting Pastor will present and review the monthly spiritual report for his/her congregation. Twelve monthly reports are required to complete this program.
Church Administration Practicum
This component of study consists of Monthly Mentoring which is done with The Church Planter, or one of the our Church Development Coordinators. At this session the Church Planting Pastor will present and review the monthly financial report for his/her congregation. Twelve monthly reports are required to complete this program.
Conference Training Workshops
This component is completed when the student has attended two yearly conferences. The Spring Conference is a training conference and the Fall Conference is a Celebratory Conference containing some housekeeping and an address by The Church Planter.
